- Dr. Nguyen Phuc, Ph.D honours in Electronics, has been extensively involved with research, design and development of all types of electronic instruments.
- Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Senior Calibration Technician With a background in Electronic Engineering and Logical Programming, over 10 years experience in fault diagnosis, repair and calibration of NDT equipment.
- Eng. La Manh Dieu, BSc in Physics, NDT level 2 in UT, RT, PT, MT, ET, over 10 years experience in calibration of NDT equipment.
VISCO maintains a comprehensive range of electronic and mechanical
measurement instruments, capable of verifying equipment used for all NDT methods.
Our quality management system is designed to ensure that all calibration equipment is monitored and that the laboratory environment meets the standards required for accurate results.
Traceability
Most key items of calibration equipment are periodically calibrated by external
laboratories that are accredited to ISO17025. All other equipment is traceable by comparison with primary reference standards and/or acceptable national measurement standards. The continuing accuracy of calibration equipment is monitored through the Quality Management system.
Almost any make, type and model of NDT instrument can be calibrated at our laboratory , including:
- Ultrasonic flaw detectors
- UT thickness gages
- Bond Testers
- Eddy current flaw detectors
- Magnetometers
- Photometers and UV radiometers
- Conductivity meters
- Radiation monitors
- Densitometers
- Coating thickness gages
On site calibrations of MPI, dye penetrant, X-ray tube focal spot
measurement and other fixed equipment is a specialty.
